High-Ropes Adventure day

Take a positive-risk today and create a summer memory you won't forget! As a supportive and encouraging team we will take on the challenges of the high-ropes course. Located at the Camp Sacajawea Retreat Center in Lebanon Hills Regional Park, the ropes course is facilitated by Dakota County Parks and the YMCA.

Space is limited to 15 individuals! RSVP now by emailing alyce@sourceofconfidence.com. Program fee will depend on how many individuals sign up.

Come ready for adventure and to offer support to other women. A more detailed scheduling coming soon.

Example of what a high-ropes course looks like. A participant wears a harness, that clips into the cables. So even though you are high off the ground, you are physical safe!

Presentation Midwest Mountaineering Spring Expo

SOC Presentation

On November 27th, 2016 we (Alyce, Lisa and Viki) became the first all female expedition to canoe the 4th longest river system in the world. Starting in southwestern Montana on May 11th, we hiked to Brower’s Spring, the ultimate source of the Jefferson-Missouri-Mississippi River system.

Currently working to develop programming for women and girls in Minnesota, and partnering with local schools and much more, the journey still continues and we are excited to share the adventure and our work at the expo this spring.

Come hear stories from our 200-day canoe expedition that covered over 4,000 miles, and passed through 14 states.  We'll talk about how we shared their confidence-building curriculum along the way and filmed the experience for our documentary.
